Gourmet Cookies to Bring Joy to the People Around Us
The Generous Cookie Co. started from a place of generosity and a search for community. After leaving his soul-sucking tech job at the end of 2022, Michael wanted to do meaningful work, but felt lost.During this season of loneliness, Michael decided to give 150 gourmet chocolate chip cookies away to neighbors for free in order to be a light and bring joy to the community.Generous Cookie Co. crafts gourmet cookies in small batches to uplift people’s spirits. Cookies are made with no preservatives, no corn syrups, and no artificial flavors. Just good cookies made with good ingredients to bring joy to the people around us.Generous Cookie Co. donates a percentage of sales to non-profit organizations.Any unsold cookies from markets are donated to the North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry to prevent food waste, while advancing the company’s mission to be a light in people’s day.Your purchase not only supports my dream to give comfort and warmth to the people around us, but to also make an impact on the people in the greater community of Los Angeles and abroad.
About the Founder
Born and raised in Los Angeles, I've loved chocolate chip cookies for as long as I can remember.I've worked in customer support throughout my career because I love helping people and making their day.Now, I want to uplift people's spirits and bring joy to my community by making good cookies for good people.When you share a good cookie with the good people in your life, you participate in an act of kindness.You extend a hand of care, comfort, and warmth.In turn, you serve joy and goodness for the soul.When our cups are full, we’re better able to go out and humbly serve others, creating a cycle of generosity.Each cookie is individually made for you by hand with love and care.When you enjoy one of my cookies, I hope you feel this love.I hope it warms your soul.I hope it inspires you to be generous.With love,
